INDULGE IN PLANTS
We all have used spice or herbs in our cooking at some time, but have you made the move to doing more with them? The number one way that I enjoy indulging in nature's gifts is in a beverage or treat. Whether it is steeped in a nice warm tea, whipped up in a smoothie bowl, or toss them with a salad, they are a very crucial and are to be very beneficial to our body's health support.
AROMATHERAPY
The benefits of aromatherapy have been mocked for years, by people stating terms like "snake oils" or "it's all in your head". Many who believe in the power of aroma will tell you differently. That the aroma of plants serves a purpose. Essential oils are the #1 way to give full health support to our bodies. When inhaled the molecules of the plant are so tiny that they are able to pass that blood-brain barrier, which is being studied to relieve or heal certain brain cancers. Aromatherapy is a very old way of personal healing. Through inhalation with steam, simple rubbing between palms of our hands then cupping hands over nose and mouth as we breathe in, and/or using a water diffuser.
SOAKS
For many years people have soaked in plants, washed with all natural products, today is no different, but have you taken into a routine or made it a custom to soak your feet the moment you feel down or like a little bug has come your way? We are quick to start to feel ill and we run to take an ibuprofen or even sip a hot tea, but to soak our feet? Our feet are very important for our overall body's health. Soaking your feet in a nice herbal bath for at least 30 minutes before bed or when you are starting to feel icky may change your whole outlook on what plants can do for us... and through our feet!!

CLEANERS
I believe most of the products we use are the reason we are sick all the time. I used to be a huge bleach person. I used it to sanitize and clean everything, dishes included, until I wised up. There are many companies and people out there making natural products. Just remember, they only have to have 5% of that natural ingredient to be able to claim their product as natural. Also, organic is not always organic. Check labels or better yet, search for places like here, that will show you how to clean your home and self with plants. Always use common sense and keep everything out of reach of kids.
