Born of the 70's
Let's travel back to the time of my birth and early childhood in the 1970s, when I began my life in San Dimas, California, before we made a significant move to Oklahoma.
Early Childhood of the 80's
The 1980s were the ultimate era for childhood memories, filled with the iconic music of Madonna, George Michael, Depeche Mode, and others. I spent my early years in Eufaula, OK, where I experienced countless adventures in the best decade ever.
Teenage Years of the 90's
The 1990s was the ultimate era for being a teenager. It was a time filled with the pop culture of bands like No Doubt and Green Day, where flannels, neon nail polish, and an all-black aesthetic dominated. This decade also marked the beginning of what we now recognize as today's goth culture.
Adult'ing in the 2000's
Nobody truly wants to grow up, and I don’t. Yet, if there’s a time to embrace adulthood, it’s the 2000s. Amid the chaos and turmoil in our country and lives, I’m grateful to be mature enough to face the challenges of this millennial era.
